Needed an AC for the hot summer & this did the trick. Cools the apt off & the price was right!

We were looking for a powerful air conditioner that wasn't too expensive to cool our garage and laundry room... In the middle of August... In Texas. Our thermometer registered 95 in the garage at 7pm! Yuck! We chose this one because it boasted the most power for the best price. Plus, it is much smaller than other brands which was important. Our garage window is not very big. It was a little more difficult to install than we anticipated, but once we got it in, it started cooling like it was a race! Within a couple hours, our garage and laundry room were cooler than our house!!! We spent most of that night hanging out in the garage because it felt so nice. I wish it filtered more garage smells out of the air, but for the job that it does, I am still impressed. It is a little loud when cooling, but if you're not trying to hear things going on elsewhere, it really doesn't matter that much.

Picked up this AC unit to cool our 1,000 Sq foot house. Works great. It’s a little noisy though compared to our old AC; it’s not bad when the fan is running, but when the compressor kicks in we have to turn up the TV. Overall not a bad AC, but I do wish it were quieter. Right out of the box I noticed some damage to the condenser on the outside, it looks like this was done during assembly. A little disappointed, but this does not appear to be affecting the performance of how the AC cools. (See Attached Photos)

this unit was very easy to install. I am using it in a 12' x 24' room and it does a good job of keeping it cool even during 100 degree weather. it is loud even on the lowest fan speed. the energy saver mode works fairly well, but is odd in the way it cuts in, then cuts off, then shortly cuts back on to maintain the desired temp. setting. I really like the remote control. it is simple and works well.

Our house has central air with one zone so our top floor is always an oven! We purchased this air conditioner on a whim on a really hot day and installed in the master bedroom. It cools our entire top floor (4bedrooms) kinda noisy and have to rinse filter often to ensure coolness but very effecient...Electric bill was already lower!

I have been using this AC for a couple of months now. PROs: You can set this AC to run at all times, to shut off at a certain temp, etc. It has the ability to provide significant cooling for large spaces. It didn't cost me all that much on my electric bill. (Normal bill is $30-$40, June bill was $58, July/August will likely stay well under $100). CONs: It is a heavy machine (to be expected for the output). It requires support (to be expected for the size). Summary: If you need cooling for larger spaces, you won't regret buying this over the cheapo 5k BTU systems that struggle mightily to provide cooling in any room other than a small enclosed room.

Purchased this to replace an older window a/c unit and I'm highly impressed. It is small, compact and packs a punch. It cools my living room fairly quickly. It is louder than I thought it would be, but it does the job well.

Our older model Frigidaire Window Unit finally gave out and we needed to replace it. We had a difficult time finding another Frigidaire locally that was energy efficient and at least 10,000 BTU's. After trying a couple of different a/c units, including an LG Window Unit, and a Hair Portable a/c unit, we ended up returning those because they couldn't keep up the demand of our large bedroom. Luckily my husband, who was working out of town at the time, found an energy efficient Frigidaire with 10,000 BTU's and we have been cool ever since. In fact, it gets so cold in our room, that I find myself turning it up right before bed to insure I can still feel my nose in the morning! Frigidaire is the ONLY way to go for a window unit.

I purchased this unit to help our HACV when the temps soared above 110 everyday for over a month. It worked so great I purchased a second unit as someone explained cool only the areas used during the day and cool the entire home at night when everyone is in. It help save on electrical cost. The two 12,000BTU units kept almost all the living areas cool. I ran the central only at night with the two window units and my electrical cost have decreased (but the temps have not). Thanks to the people who recommended the windows to support a central unit.

Cools great way better than whirlpool the output is excellent and not too noisy.it cools down room quickly and is the best unit I've had thus far.

It cools my 624 square feet room properly. I like the time can do half time. The remote control is a plus. And the unit is very easy to install.

I love this Air conditioner! It's a little loud but it cools my house quickly and it was easy to install. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Installation a snap, done in under 45 minutes and it was blowing C-O-L-D air. As advertised it is more than enough fpr the 2BR house it now lives in. I don't care for the expansion panels that seal the window opening and have installed small panels of insulation board to stop heat transfer and loss of cooling. Also, be sure you have appropriate voltage and recepticle that fits the AC plug on the unit.

bought this ac unit for my moms room,it blows out so much cold air that we have to keep it on energy saver,its a little loud but works really well,so much so,i ended up buying another one for my living room.

The 12000 BTU is small in size and easy to place into smaller size windows. At the same time, the size says nothing about its power. It is able to cool my living room, dinette and kitchen which is about 450 sq ft. Great product, and highly recommended.

They say big things come in small packages and it sure proves true with this window unit. I measured the area I intended to cool and this unit covers that are plus some.. (Living room, kitchen, bedroom) I leave it set on the auto feature for power savings and it works excellent. It even runs quietly.

I live in a 1,100 square foot apartment and this single AC alone cools the living room, kitchen, dining room and part of the hallway. Easy to use and install along with useful features, I couldn't be happier with this unit.

Wonderfully powerful fan cools 450 square ft room. Love the ease of using remote. Not as loud as previous a.c. unit which is nice.

I brought this ac at a great price. 300 bucks for a 12000btu meanwhile they had a 8000 btu for 299. this ac cools off quick and it isn't noisy at all. definitely worth the money.

I research everything before I buy it, and when I go to the store, I know exactly what I want and why. I loved what I read about this air conditioner and got it so I could cool a first floor of a 2-story house. It sits in a middle room and I have tried to direct the air flow to the sides so it goes into the other rooms on the floor. This is the reason for the missing star. The 8-way air flow is difficult for me to know which direction the air is supposed to go. It seems like no matter what position I have it in, more goes straight than sideways. With the 4-way controls of other machines, there is no guesswork. I love all the options, and the installation was pretty straightforward. Unless you are pretty strong, you will want two people to install it.
