- Answer Yes! Mine is in the garage and it’s withstanding extreme heat temperatures. Although it doesn’t get as cold here as Michigan, I’m sure it will do well with extreme cold.

QuestionCan the door be removed for installation? If so, what are the dimensions with the door removed? There are dimensions for depth of cabinet; what does this mean? Is depth of cabinet an internal or external measurement?

QuestionYes I just had my Frigidiare freezer delivered. I love it. My question is how do you put the wire basket in the freezer. I have tried both ways. Does the low side go to the back and high side to the front or vice versa. Thank you

- Answer Hi Klewis, If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all food and unplug the power cord. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. QuestionHi, I purchase this freezer 2 months ago I love it! But just recently the green bottom light started blinking and my food looks a bit more frozen then usual, what does that mean ? I have not touch anything sense I purchase it what can I do?

- Answer I would check to see if the temp control is set at recommended setting. Wait a few hours to see if the blinking has stopped. If not, call BestBuy and ask them what to do. However, two months should be warranted. S9 complain if needed. Good Luck.

- Answer We are happy to help, mews! This model freezer does not require a garage heater kit. This model performs well between a 50 and 110-degree ambient. Below 50 degree ambient, the freezer control should be adjusted to the coldest setting. The product will operate down to 39-degree ambient, but there is a risk of food items freezing in the fresh food compartment. To reduce the risk of food freezing, fresh food control should be adjusted to a warmer setting. ~Keyanna

While the majority of our freezers are made in our Anderson, South Carolina, or St. Cloud, Minnesota factories, we have other units that are made in other factories. QuestionI ordered the Frigidaire Upright Freezer online for delivery to my local Best Buy. When I pick it up at the store, will it be in some kind of crate or will it just be the freezer itself. And do I need to do anything more complicated that plug it in?

- Answer I can’t quite answer your question completely, but... I ordered the freezer with delivery and it came in a thick cardboard box with zip ties around it. The delivery team did not assemble or unbox, just left the box. Then my husband unboxed it and “assembled” it. Which was basically screwing on the feet and leveling it, setting up the shelves, and plugging it in. Hope that helps!
