A:AnswerI had it outside in garage for over a month 90+ days and it worked just fine. I had no one to help put it in the basement but I would have been comfortable leaving it out there.
A:AnswerThe freezer is kept in my basement so it is not adjacent to a living area. However, when I do hear it run, it does not appear to be any louder than my Maytag refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen.
