“How do I connect a hose or drain pan for the auto defrost feature? The manual is unclear where the opening is since it describes several different freezers. Frigidaire above answered this freezer is manual defrost. It is advertised as frost-free.”

the condeser cools in a pan that the water drips in. most of the time the water evaporates. you could add a backing pan under i did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.any water that may be produced during a defrost will be directed to a catch pan, and that catch pan is attached to the freezers compressor. The compressor is hot, and will evaporate the water in the collection pan. So the pan will never fill up or need emptying.
