“Reading an answer provided by Frigidaire, they said they do not recommend drilling a hole in the freezer. If so, how are you supposed to attach the casters? And- Is it possible for them to be installed by delivery?”

This freezer comes caster holes at the bottom of the unit. When you receive the unit there will be leveling legs in these holes. The appliance comes with a caster installation kit shipped in a basket of the chest freezer. If your unit is missing this kit, be sure to contact us directly. ~Keyanna

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are predrilled holes for the casters. I wasn’t offered the option to have them installed when it was delivered but it’s not difficult to do. I set the freezer up on one end on a blanket to protect it from being scratched and then I installed the 4 casters. All you need is a phillips tip screwdriver. There are 4 screws per caster and it took me about 5 minutes to install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are already prethreaded holes on the bottom to attach the casters on...as far as installation they aren't hard to install with a screwdriver. I would recommend leaving them off as the 2 with wheel locks don't seem to stop the freezer from moving and there is no way to adjust the freezer level for the inevitable uneven floor.
