For the most efficient operation, the freezer should be located where surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110°F (43°C). Temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below will not affect operation. This model doesn't have a power alarm, however, the green Power On light indicates that the freezer is properly connected to electrical power. If the light goes out, that indicates you may have lost power. If a power failure occurs, frozen foods will stay frozen for at least 24 hours if the freezer is kept closed.
