The lid is very light; not heavy at all. I can easily lift it with one hand.

At this time we do not have an approximate weight of the freezer's lid only. The unit itself is weighed at about 161 pounds. Typically the lid will be no more than 10-15% of the total unit's weight. In this case, you can estimate the lid to be anywhere from 16-24 pounds. Please remember this is only an estimate and the weight could even be slightly less. Have a great day!
