“Is there a mechanism to turn off the light? Can the LED light either be removed and/or is there a switch or other mechanism to to tape down so the light stays off?”

• Light only comes on while opened, You can unscrew the bulb and remove if you want or need to replace. Can't image why you don't want to light the interior though.

• Hello, Happy! There is not an on and off switch for the light inside of the model that you have selected. ~Briana
