QuestionJust had my fridge delivered. Is there supposed to be a cover for the fridge light? Also, what temperature/how do I set for the garage? I thought there was supposed to be a garage setting on this model but I don't see one.

- Answer Look at your owners manual about the light cover! There is a separate temperature control in the freezer! That's what makes it good for the garage. As far as the garage temperatures I just set them like I would in my house! The owners manual suggests that you put it at the recommended settings so I did! I put a freezer thermometer in there and one in the refrigerator, refrigerator was fine but I wanted the freezer a little colder so I moved the setting so it would get colder and I kept monitoring the temperature in the refrigerator & in the freezer.

- Answer We removed the black item, but still can't get the wire rack out of the lower holes. We would like it to be in the higher position, if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

- Answer Hi Anonymous, Thank you for your submission. In researching the model FFTR1821QS, we were able to identify that it is garage ready. With it being garage ready it is designed to start up in cooler conditions. It is recommend for optimal performance to not install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator. Thank you for your inquiry. Respectfully

QuestionWhy is my fridge so noisy?I have had my new fridge a week, but I've been on a trip most of the time. Now that I'm back, I've noticed how noisy it is -- unusually so. I can hear it all over my house and it's driving me batty. Is there anything that can be done... for example, insulation around the compressor or whatever, or pads on the bottom?

- Answer Here is what they don’t tell you about changing the doors to left side hinge. Because the refrigerator was packaged tightly and compressed the door shut, the seal will be squashed down on the open side. When you reverse the door you will end up with a gap on the seal. Here is the other problem. If you buy from a store that uses third party for delivery and the switch it , they don’t care and will very likely mess things up just to get done and out of there to there next delivery. Be ware of Lowes third party deliver!
