“Why is my fridge so noisy? I have had my new fridge a week, but I've been on a trip most of the time. Now that I'm back, I've noticed how noisy it is -- unusually so. I can hear it all over my house and it's driving me batty. Is there anything that can be done... for example, insulation around the compressor or whatever, or pads on the bottom?”

Mine is kinda loud too. I'll call for service to examine the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A new frige should be really quite and not heard from another room. Compare the noise from your frige and a neighbors to gage any real difference as a reference before calling for service (but it should be pretty quite).
