Question1) we want the fridge in the basement and that entryway is 29 inches wide. The fridge is 32.625 wide, 71.75 high, and 29.875 deep. It is "24.25 inches deep without door". Can the door be removed? 2) would "delivery" include bringing the fridge inside?

- Answer We just had this delivered last week. without the door it is 24" if you take the door off. We did delivery only. they brought it in and dropped off where we wanted it. We had to plug in and attach the handle. It's a very nice fridge.

QuestionIf this is just a. refrigerator, why does it require a water hose for installation?

- Answer You don't need a water hose. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you CANNOT switch the door to open on the opposite side. When we tried to reverse the door, we found an electrical wire that runs from the bottom of the refrigerator to the bottom of the door which you cannot switch up, Other than that I would give this refrigerator 10 **** if I could. I love this refrigerator!!!! It's quiet, made well with glass shelves, and a great price ($949.99) If I didn't already have a freezer, I would have purchased the freezer to match this refrigerator.

- Answer Hello, Gabe. We appreciate your inquiry. Most refrigerators are designed to perform at ambient temperatures between 45 °F (7 °C) and 110 °F (43 °C) to ensure optimal performance. It is not advisable to install the appliance where the temperature will drop below 35°F (1.7°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the unit. We hope this information helps! - Christi

QuestionFor our purposes, we need to be able to permanently disarm the high temperature alarm. How do we do that? It is not an option for us to keep a refrigerator that has these alarm features unless they can be permanently disabled.

QuestionWe just got this delivered today and noticed the door catches about half way closed. Then you can push it harder and it will close. Is this a defect or is it supposed to be this way for some reason?

- Answer The door on ours does not close by itself but it really doesn't take much effort to close it. I prefer it that way so it is not repeatedly closing on its own and forcing me to wait on the vacuum seal when I am trying to load it up.
