Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This works with 110v. And has a 3 prong plug. I have an old house and it has not been a problem. The specs are Rated Current 4.9 Amp so it holds up well on a 15amp line. This is the minimum in all house even old. So these units work well in the rooms. I have two. I don’t go over 6000 BTUs. It’s on the same circuit as the lamps, radio and chargers. Haven’t tried it with a blow dryer on at the same time. Hope that helps.
