  • QuestionWe have a small microwave oven (13" deep; 11 " high; 18" wide) that we would like to put on top of the refrigerator. Both will be plugged into the same outlet (directly) with a surge protector. Please advise. Thanks.

    Asked by banjo.

    • Answer Hey, Banjo. Please keep in mind that it is recommended to allow 3 inches as clearance on the top of this fridge for proper air circulation. Note do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug. If possible, place the refrigerator out of direct sunlight and away from the range, dishwasher, or other heat sources. We hope this helps. ~Keyanna

  • QuestionWhere does the water go when defrosting if there is no defrosting tray? Model FFP3133um Carole

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer This model is like a full size refrigerator/freezer in which the condensate drips into a small tray underneath in back and does not get removed. The plastic tray is mounted on top of the compressor and the heat causes the condensate to evaporate. I recommend that you wipe out the tray with a sponge to keep dust/pet hair from collecting.

  • Questionhow noisy is this unit

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi valued consumer. the Frigidaire 3.1 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge with Built‑In Freezer (model FFPS3133UM). The spec sheet for this model doesn’t list a decibel (dB) value for its operating noise. On the listing, “noise level” is mentioned as a pro: e.g., the Best Buy listing highlights “Size, Freezer, Cooling, Space, Noise Level” among the pros. So, it is marketed and reviewed as being reasonably quiet but not whisper‑quiet. Some users in quiet settings have noticed the operational hum or motor sounds. - Maico
