Hi LadyV! Loading your washer properly, making sure the loads are balanced can minimize any sounds. Typically, the loading can possibly cause wrinkles in clothing along with the impeller motion moving the clothing through the water against each other to aid in cleaning. In researching, we were able to see that you are able to add diluted fabric softener to the final rinse following the fabric softener label directions, as instructed in the Use and Care Guide on page 7.
