Not totally sure. The controls are very different from a very similar unit we had purchased a dozen years ago. So far I have been pressing combinations of select and cancel buttons until the lights go out. Could very well be about time to read the user instructions. Doubt the power drain is significant.

If you like, you can ensure there are no cycles selected by pressing "cancel". The washer and dryer should not start until options are selected and "start" is pressed. If you need to disconnect power, you can do so at the circuit breaker or power outlet. ~Ashton
