“The washer does not indicate when it reaches the rinse cycle, so how do I know when to add the softner?”

• I put my fabric softner in at the beginning of washing. It's the same as if you buy the laundry detergent with fabric softner already in it.

• The bad thing is you can't open the lid because it is locked.

• The softener in added at the beginning when the detergent is added. There is a special place for the liquid softener that releases at the correct time.

• There is no dedicated place to put fabric softener in my GE washer. It also says add during rinse cycle. Unless I stand in front of the washer I don’t know when it’s going into rinse cycle. The lid locks right before rinse cycle. I feel they didn’t think this through. Smh!
