For your Frigidaire FCWM3027AB microwave, the electrical junction box (or outlet box) should generally be in the upper cabinet above the microwave, but it can also be in an adjacent cabinet if space is tight, as long as the supply cable has enough slack for servicing and meets electrical codes. - Patrick
