A:AnswerI am like you-many do not want it. Yes can turn it off but if you have dedicated water "valve" to the fridge...keep a line connected to the valve at least...so you can test the valve once + awhile in a bucket...Know that this is another hole in an otherwise insulated unit. Ug!
