Thank you for reaching out. For your Frigidaire 20 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator with Internal Water Dispenser, it is normal for the water to feel cool rather than very cold. This model does not have a dedicated water-chilling system or reservoir; instead, the water is cooled as it passes through tubing stored within the refrigerated section. Because of this design: The water temperature is influenced by how long it has remained in the internal lines After periods of non-use, the first glass may feel closer to room temperature Regular use helps keep water in the lines more consistently chilled Ways to help improve water temperature: Ensure the fresh food compartment is set to the recommended temperature (around 37°F / 3°C) Dispense water regularly so it remains in the cooled internal lines Allow time after installation or filter changes for the system to stabilize Use ice if a colder drinking temperature is desired immediately Please note that there is no setting to further cool the water beyond the refrigerator’s internal temperature. We hope this helps clarify how your dispenser operates. - Jessica
