A:Answer I don't know if the exhaust tube is long enough to go through a closet and attic. And your attic is going to become very hot so, if you don't have a way for the air to escape, it may cause things stored up there to get moldy. I forgot to open the window to let and place the exhaust pipe out and the room became about 88 degrees in about 5 mins. We have used it sparaticly for a few month and haven't had to dump the water yet, but we also have fans in even room of the house. So I guess if your using it more often the need for a bucket may be useful. But you will need a hose for it to extract the water, it doesn't come with that hose.
