• My unit is NOT quiet. I'm glad it's in my kitchen as that helps it not be so loud around the rest of the house.

• What do you expect Frigidaire to say about its noise level? The reality is: "Quietest AC unit ever" could not be farther from the truth. I'm not sure what they're comparing it to, but I'm sure I don't want to know. Long story short, you install this in a living room, you won't be watching TV. You install it in a bedroom, you won't be sleeping. Maybe a tool shed?
