Hello Steffani! A cast iron griddle can be utilized with this induction cooktop. Because of the weight that cast iron cookware possesses, we recommend not sliding the cookware across the cooktop and gently lifting and lowering the griddle to and from the cooktop to avoid damage to the appliance. - Damon
