“Can this unit be plugged into a surge protector cord strip by it self?”

• Thank you for your inquiry, WineLover! We do not recommend to not use an extension cord or adapter plug on your product for safety reasons. The power cord of the appliance is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for your protection against electrical shock hazards.
