“How loud is this wine cooler, especially as the compressor comes on?”

• My experience over the last few weeks is that it's VERY quiet. I'm sitting about 30-40 feet away from it as I type this and I cannot hear it. The TV is on, but even with the TV off, I barely notice it running...

• Unit has a low hum occasionally. Doesn't use normal Freon, so that might be why you don't hear a compressor. It can not be heard if the TV is on in the adjoining room.
