Yes, I have mine in the garage and it works just fine.

Yes. That was the reason we purchased this refrigerator. Our garage is not insulated so the temperature varies greatly and so far, this refrigerator is working very well in the heat of this summer. Also, it gets dusty in the garage and the finish seems to be holding up well. I take a minute and wipe the outside down whenever I load it up with bottles and cans.
