A:AnswerThese people (Fridgidaire support and some other guy that looks like he's supposed to be important) are idiots. No refrigerator less than the size of a van is going to use 1725 watts. My guess is that this refrigerator uses around 150 - 200 watts when the compressor is running (that is, when it's actually cooling). It would be nice if best buy would always include the actual complete specs like how many amps at what voltage, so we can figure out the wattage without having to guess.
