QuestionOur Frigidaire mini frig. Model # FRC05L5DB0 is several years old . Recently, canned soft drinks have frozen and even exploded in it, regardless of the setting (dial inside with numbers 1-7 ). Is there any control or adjustment other than the 1-7 dial ?

QuestionCan the plastic shelves on the door be removed? I am wondering about putting larger items on the bottom shelf and it appears the big gallon size door shelf blocks some of the room. Thank you

- Answer Honestly, look for a wire replacement shelf( take Dimensions of other shelf) look for a wired one as it allows the cold air to pass thru easier for cooling.

QuestionI know the door can be reversed to open from the right side. Can the inside freezer door be reversed as well? I saw that it has mounting spots on the opposite side as well.

- Answer While the manual does not include instructions for reversing the swing of the freezer door, you are correct that the fridge does have mounting spots on the opposite side which look like they might allow you to flip the configuration. The only caveat I can see is that the socket for the lower door bracket does not have a pre-drilled screw hole.

- Answer For proper cooling/ventilation, the manual specifies that the unit have clearances of 3 inches at the top and sides and 4 inches in the rear. So the answer is, no, not like a dishwasher.

- Answer Seriously? 50° is nothing! So, just lower the dial to #1 which will raise the temperature. I hope you have a refrigerator thermometer in there like I do to monitor it’s temperature.
