We recommend contacting your contractor to ensure ventilation outside the roof of your home versus recirculation, Also the unit comes with the exhaust to vent through the cabinet you will need to contact a contractor to vent outside the house through the roof. Q: QuestionIt says in the description of "Vent Type" = Convertible. What does that mean? Recirculating/Non-recirculating? Wall/Island?

Q: QuestionCan this model be installed as an island ceiling mounted unit or only wall mounted? I have canned lights in a drop down box from the celing above the stove. Can it be installed where the ceiling is irregular like this?
