What does it mean that "installation" is required for this product? null

The only thing I can see regarding extra installation would be connecting the optional drain hose connection and running a line to a floor drain. That accessory is included but is completely optional as you can use the internal reservoir and empty it manually once it is full.

No installation. Just connect the cord and it's ready to go!

You just need to plug it in. The only installation that is required is if you want it to feed into a condensate pump so you don't have to dump the bucket. That is just a hose to hook up. Very easy.

The only installation is if you want to put the direct drain line on it, and put drain line in a drain. If you are going to just empty the water from the container then there is no assembly! Out of the box, plug it in and GO!! It's great.

Basically the hose and hose connector is the "installation hardware" if your hooking it up to a drain. If your just using the bucket it's plug and play!

You simply plug it in. If you want to run it with the drain hose adapter, you attach it per included instructions, but I use it without. It's simple.
