It certainly should. We noticed that a mirror in our bedroom was getting fogged up with condensation. After installing the unit, that no longer happens. I just leave mine set on constant, as I appear to have an unlimited supply of moisture in my house. I empty the bucket once in the morning and after I get home from work. My wife also had the great idea to attach one of those clip on car air fresheners to the unit where the dry air blows out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it will help, all your issues. My old Washing machine had an undetected leak and buckled my floors, made my house humid. Within one full day, after stopping the leak and using the dehumidifier, things were better. If it shuts off too soon, decrease the humidity number.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, it will remove moisture, don't know about smell, you may have waited too long
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can only assume it will help your room, it is designed to remove water from the air. I dont think temperature matters. You can adjust the humidity level to your choice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've read that the "optimal" indoor humidity level is around 55% (or close to that) to avoid mildew and mold. This WILL help with your condensation issue and musky smell in the future. The smell may have to be rectified first to get rid of it totally.
