“We’ve got a 400 sq ft space that’s 70% humidity at this time of year w/ damp spots on the low parts of the floor. I’ve been running a 30 pt for 12 hours and it’s down to 55% (still w/ damp spots). Should I go 50 pt? 70pt? Or will the 30 pt catch up?”

A 30 pint dehumidifier will cover up to 300 square feet in a moderate or slightly damp area. Whereas a 40-50 will cover 500 square feet. We recommend purchasing a dehumidifier on the size of the location and based on the information provided a 50 pint dehumidifier may work better. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve got the 50 pint in a larger space and it has been great. Mine has gotten the level to 45 on numerous occasions to the point where it shuts itself off.
