no does not sound lie a good idea. find another location to install it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to get rid of the condensation(water) you wouldn't wanna fill your fireplace with water but other than that you could vent the hot air into attic or fireplace chimney or even into the garage. The air isn't toxic it's just hot.
