Hey Musik! The air conditioner will come with a hardware installation kit that will have the accordion style panels for filler inside of the window. Hopefully this information is helpful in your search for an air conditioner. –Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm so sorry.....I didn't install the unit so I didn't think the accordian sides were in there!! YES, there are accordian side included with the unit and there are solid sides, also. My Sis put it in for me (she's so great at helping me with these things!). She put the accordian sides in and then covered them with the solid sides and taped all around, so this a/c unit is staying in all year! Again, I'm sorry I wrote the revue before talking to her. She put it in so fast, I didn't see that part. I am still very happy with this unit, it's over 90 here in W MI today and my house is nice and cool!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are not accordian style sides but there are 2 flat panel sides to use. I like this idea better than the accordian panels. The panels are solid and a little caulking or (duct or insulating) tape will keep air and insects out. Hope this is helpful....I love my a/c unit and would buy again.
