• It has a thermostat remote. It reads the temperature in the house and keeps the unit working until it reaches the temperature you set it for the unit to cool.

• It does have a temperature sensor on it. you set the temperature that you want to maintain and as the temp goes up it will come on and turn to standby when it reaches the temp needed.

• It has such a device. But previous remotes were easier to figure out.
