• All Frigidaire a/c's come with a window kit for installation. All kits include the side curtains.

• Yes, and nice wide ones. I bought two 5000 BTU, one 6000 BTU and one 8000 BTU of this product line and they were the first air conditioners I ever owned (I'm 44) that didn't need a piece of wood to fill in the rest of the window space.
