“Are you supposed to drain before first use because my Unit is already leaking water from the bottom. It’s in cool mode so to my knowledge it shouldn’t be leaking. I just bought this unit 2 weeks ago.”

It shouldn't be leaking. You only need to drain in dry mode and no you dont drain when you first get it.
