For the personal cooling aspect, I'd say yes. It blows nice cold air if you have the top angled in your direction. You can be pretty far away as well and still feel it. As for the table, I'd say no. The air only comes from the top of the unit, and you can only make the piece move to a certain angle. I think it would work best at ground level facing you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but I would recommend putting a tall fan in front of it to blow the cool air where you want it. Approx 4’ should do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you need something bigger.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I WOULD SAY PROBABLY NOT. FIRST THIS UNIT IS 72 POUNDS. NOT FOR A TABLE. NEXT ISSUE IS THAT WHILE THE BLOWER DOES HAVE GOOD FORCE IF THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY ARE THAT HIGH IT MAY JUST CANCEL OUT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE COOLING ABILITY. THE PERSON CLOSEST MAY FEEL THE COOL AIR BUT NOT SURE HOW MUCH RELIEF OTHER GUESTS WOULD GET IN AN OUTDOOR SETTING. THIS UNIT IS FOR INDOOR USE. I BELIEVE YOUR BEST BET IS TO CALL FRIGIDAIRE CUSTOMER CARE AT 1-800-374-4432 THERE HOURS ARE M - F 8 AM-8 PM (EST) SAT-9 AM - 6 PM (EST) YOU CAN TELL THEM THE OUTDOOR SPACE YOU WANT TO COOL AND WILL THIS MACHINE OR ANOTHER ONE WHICH IS MEANT TO BE OUTSIDE BE A BETTER CHOICE. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. TYLER.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this unit blows the cool air upwards at a 45* angle with no way to readjust it. If you are sitting in a chair you will not feel it. You would do better using a fan instead, moving air cools best in high humidity areas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you are looking to use this AC outdoors and I would not recommend this. Being that this unit was designed and tested for indoor cooling efficiency and comfort relative to that environment, you would most likely over-work the unit and put unnecessary strain on the compressor. However, during short uses outdoors or in a closed garage this unit should cool the area effectively. Again, I would not use this unit for extended periods of time in environments it was not designed or tested for without understanding the thresholds where the unit may fail.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would NOT put it on a table - it is seriously heavy and on wheels!! It does blow well enough to cool you at 3 feet away- for sure!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi VicW! Thank you for your inquiry. The personal cooling comfort can depend on the setting and actual location itself. Hope this information was helpful to you. -Thanks!-
