“I have an old wooden window that lifts open and is about 5' wide. Will I need any special adapters in order to vent the air conditioner or does this product include enough moldings to fill the space?”

Might not fit but you can get stiff insulating foam board at your local hardware store/ Home Depot & cut it to fit around the hose & plastic & put that in your larger window.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a rectangular plastic piece to which the exhaust hose can be attached at the window. It should block most of the window opening. If it is not wide enough just cut a piece of plywood to block any additional opening and duct-tape it to the plastic piece.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does come with a window adapter- I don’t know if it would go 5’ wise.... but it would definitely work best in a window that lifts, rather than opens to the side (although the hose does swivel)
