“Is this air conditioner considered an evaporative one where I don't need to drain it?”

• I have been running mine for two weeks now and I have not had any issues with needing to drain it. I believe if you run the dehumidifier that is when it will require drainage.

• This unit requires a drain tray and if you run it purely as a dehumidifier you’ll need a separate dedicated drain hose

• Hey, Laur89! The model you selected does not have to be drained as the water will recirculate back onto the condenser coils. ~Courtney
