It is possible to install this unit into a 25 in window if you don't install the side frames. At 18 inches tall, that might be a problem. The window will need to open more to remove this unit in the fall. Don't forget, anything larger than 15000 btu's will probably need a 220 volt outlet. 220 volt outlet is not a standard outlet.
