No. We have the same problem. Vent through a fireplace flue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, In the “Cooling Mode” the appliance must be placed close to a window or opening so that the warm exhaust air can be ducted outside. Please note that during the dehumidifying mode, you will need a garden hose (sold separately) to drain the condensate from the unit. The unit will then be able to discharge into a drain that is lower than the unit, or connected to a condensate pump (sold separately). Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would have to cut a board to fit the full height of the opening and cut a hole in it for the hose. To secure the door you would have to cut a small board to drop in the track behind the door to keep it from coming open.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would have to rig something to fill in the rest of the sliding door. But do yourself a favor and don't buy this thing. They are junk, pay a handy man to install a wall unit if you have to. I could not believe how loud these things run and how little they cool the room.
