Not completely. Locking the panel is great but my child has unlocked it and turned the stove top on several times. The only true way is to lock the buttons (as described in the other answers) and keep the stove top free of any pans or tea kettles, etc

To turn this feature on or off, you would press and hold the lock key for 3-5 seconds. For more details about this Lockout feature, check out page 22 of the Use&Care Guide. Please try again later.Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds and it will lock the oven door shut, in case your baking or if it's still warm, and will disable to touch panel. The display will say "door lock" and all of the heating element controls will have a dash displayed. Press and hold the lock button again and everything goes back to normal.
