Do you need to use a special cleaner for the cooktop? null

I personally use soap and water and if you want a shine use any glass top cleaner. Since I have had many spill overs nothing has burned to it. Usually wipes right up since they heat is only on the pot or pan used. You will still have residual heat from the pot/pan sitting on the glass but it dissipates quick
