“1) Is there a cover for the rear of the stove? There are a lot of holes that are an issue for spills. 2) If food or oil falls in one of the rear holes, how can you get it out?”

Those rear holes allow the oven to vent its heat. I doubt that there is any type of cover for them.

When the oven is on, warm air is released through these vents, which are necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results, so you want to be sure not to block them. The vents are for ventilation nothing more. The unit does move freely as to clean behind.
