Questioni need instructions on how to turn on self clean, Do I preheat?????

- Answer Hello Noel! The instructions on how to operate self-clean within the range (FGEF3035RF) are located within the manual. The steps are: 1. Remove all items and oven rack from the oven and close the oven door. Be sure the clock displays the correct time of day. 2. Press self-clean and “---” will appear in the display. 3. Press the up or down arrow once and “3:00” will appear in the display window, this indicates a three hour self-clean. To change it to a two hours press the down arrow once. 4. “CLn” will then display and the “LOCK” light will glow. Your range is then in self-clean mode. QuestionDo u recommend a specific cooktop cleaner for this stove? Hard to clean!I've had this stove for 2 weeks and used only a handful of times. It seems to stain quite easily. I tried cleaning the stovetop with typical cleaners like lysol kitchen and windex without any luck. It feels clean and smooth to the touch but appears as if I have not cleaned it. I'm sure there are stovetop/cooktop cleaners out there, but just wanted to know if you recommend any specific kind and/or brand for your stove. Please see attached pic. Thank u!

- Answer I use Weiman glass cook top heavy duty cleaner and Polish and the Weiman cook top scrubbing pads. Very easy to use and i am very pleased with the results. I believe I found this product at walmart.

- Answer Hello Cindy! The oven control has a built-in 12-Hour Energy Saving feature that will shut off the oven if the control is left on for more than 11 hours and 59 minutes. - Answer The stainless is supposed to be smudge-proof. I haven't had any problem. It's the mirror-black ceramic glass cooktop that needs constant cleaning.

- Answer Thanks for your question, Anonymous – this Frigidaire Convection Range does in fact have timed bake and delayed time bake features. It can be programmed to start immediately and shut off automatically (timed bake); or to begin baking at a later time with a delayed start time (delayed timed bake). Full instructions for these features can be found in the Use & Care Guide on page 18. Please don’t hesitate to ask additional questions. Happy cooking!

QuestionI have a black Frigidaire Gallery stove. I have been using the Ceramabryte cooktop cleaner with pad but some of the stains will not come out no matter how many times I try to clean it. Do u have any suggestions for those hard to clean spots?

QuestionI have this range. The oven door has open vents near handle. I had spilled some food and it went into the vents and is now inbetween the glass door.. No way to clean it so the oven door looks gross. Any suggestions?

Questionhow does self clean work

- Answer I have had this stove for about a month and have not used that particular option. However, I had an electric range that was self-cleaning. In reading the manual it appears to be the same as my old stove. There is a self-cleaning feature on the control panel. Before you select that option remove the racks (if you leave them in the heat will discolor them), wipe up any residue that you may have missed after baking. Close the door, select self-clean. It takes about 3 hours and does a great job. As I mentioned earlier I can't imagine this stove would be any different. My 'old' stove was 25 years old :)

QuestionHow do soups, etc. do on the low or simmer setting of the burners? I have read on some electric ranges they cannot regulate the temperature to a true simmer. How does this GE model perform?

- Answer If you want true regulation of heat, you will need gas. Use a soup ladel to stir your soup a little more, that's all. All stove tops whether gas or electric will differ depending on the size of your pan and the amount of liquid
