Make sure hose is not linked and runs downhill or straight into sump pump. I keep mine right on edge of drain so hose cannot get clogged! Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All I can recommend is that you check a make sure that there are no blockages that would prevent the flow of the water from the unit into the hose and then make sure that your hose is free of kinks and has a constant down ward slope to the hose exit near or into your drain. if the water cannot free flow down and out of the hose it will ultimately collect in the reservoir.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I placed mine on a small table about 2 feet above the floor. With a 50ft hose, on a completely flat floor to the drain, its been draining just fine for several days. Before it was on the small table, nope, it would not drain.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine works with hose. Is it all draining straight down? Like no up angles in hose, it may not push it if it has to push water uphill at all. Just a thought. With no pump it won't gravity feed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem with a previous unit, and found over time the hose was stopped up with material from the water. Hook hose to a water outlet and flush it clear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you remove the plug/blank at the end of or in the drain hose attachment area before attaching your hose? It is put there during manufacturering. You have to remove it if you are going to attach a hose. Also if you do this, I would recommend getting a rubber pull from the hardware store to use in case you decide to remove the hose at some point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is the drain hose at least 1/2 inch and on a down slope
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Topper! Thank you for your inquiry. Some tips that can alleviate your concerns is to ensure the dehumidifier is set to a proper setting (low enough RH% so the unit turns on) and a garden hose is connected properly and tight enough. Your garden hose should be 11/16" (17.5 mm) or larger in diameter, must not be “kinked” and must allow water to flow “downhill” and free of debris, tears or holes. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try using it without the water tank.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Possibly your hose is not draining properly and backing the water up into the bucket. Make sure your hose has a flat or inclined down run
