• A:Answer Yes, it is designed to be used as a built-in or as a standalone cooler (It vents out the front on the bottom, so you can have it built into a cabinet, with no issues) BTW, we love this cooler. Works great, holds a lot of bottles and is quiet. The temperature display is spot on in terms of accuracy. I also don't notice a lot of vibration from the compressor, so the wines aren't disturbed.
