• Yes... it comes with a reusable one. I keep it for emergencies (like when I run out of paper filters), as I prefer to use the paper filters. Just my opinion, I think the coffee tastes better using the paper filters.

• Yes, this unit does come with a permenant reusable filter. Disposable filters can be used as well if you prefer. Thank You, Frigidaire
