“I changed my Pure Source 2 filter and now the light is red The filter status light on the front of the started out orange then turned red as I ran the water through. I tried a different new filter with the same result. It is a Side by side with a Pure Source 2 filtration system. Any suggestions would be appreciated.”

Once the filter has been replaced and purged, hold the filter reset button down for about 5 seconds. If the indication light does not reset back to green, try resetting the unit completely. Unplug for 30 seconds, plug it back in. Thank you, Frigidaire

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to reset the light using the button, manually. It does not go off on its own after you change the filter. Just press the button for about 5 seconds and it should turn green.
