“Protected Memory Card message When I put the memory card in, I get a message on the screen Protected Memory Card. The little slide button on the side of the card is in the unlock position, but still it doesn't let me take pictures. What can I do to fix this?”

We had the same problem, it ended up being a setting within the memory card itself. If you are able to plug the card into a computer/laptop, you should see an option within it's settings to disengage the protected feature. Hope this helps.
